A typical day with ViVA starts with meeting up with other London-based players to do car shares, then follows the unpredictable journey up the M1 to Derby. Once arrived on time, the rehearsal process is usually an enjoyable relief!

On personal fulfilment through involvement with ViVA outreach and education projects...

My most enjoyable and fulfilling education experience with ViVA was quite recently, the Bess of Hardwick project in Derby and Hardwick Hall, June 2008, when we did a project involving primary schools singing extremely well, long items they had learnt by heart. In this project, the piece had been well composed, so it was a quality experience for all involved.
