Rolls-Royce and ViVA have been working together since the mid-90's. The relationship began with sponsorship of concerts and, over time, has matured into a multi-faceted and innovative partnership. It is believed to be one of the longest relationships of its kind between industry and the Arts.

ViVA now works with Rolls-Royce to deliver educational projects in schools and provide development opportunities for the company's employees. More recently, the two organisations have been working together to introduce music into some of the company's training programmes as a communication and learning tool.

Rolls-Royce Director of Human Resources, John Rivers, said: "We recognise the important role arts can play in both the community and the workplace, and have built our relationship with ViVA over the years not only to the mutual benefit of both organisations, but also the wider community. We are very proud that we have been able to develop the partnership by introducing different areas of work and break new ground together."

Rolls-Royce's relationship with sinfonia ViVA has been recognised by Arts & Business East Midlands in 2006 when it won the Experian A&B Award for Investment and Sustainability.
